Education is a powerful tool that shapes and empowers minds, reflecting back on my Micro-teaching, it was a game changer, for the first time in three years i finally had the experience of teaching on an online platform. To be honest the first minute of lesson was stressful, i had issues with the link for the class, i was unable but eventually i managed to log into the class. My learners were the best part of the lesson, participating and answering questions, the rationale was aligning with the lesson and the requirements of the CAPS document. Teaching, discussing and administering an activity within 15 minutes was a real challenge but i managed to make it a success. Of course, it required a lot of practice, determination and patience. Would i do it again? yes of course! online Micro-teaching tested my technological skills and my abilities to deliver content while using technology, it also tested my problem-solving skills. I had to collaborate with other co-teachers and i believe our collaboration was also fruitful and successful. Their feedback was very appreciated and valued that i will do better in the next online lesson i will administer.

The Role of Educators in Society
Educators play a huge role in the society therefore it an essential will or action to give back to the community. Reflecting back on my service learning, hygiene is a very sensitive topic therefore it is essential that it is taught at a very young age. From planning to looking for motivational speakers which was not a success, this whole encounter tested my determination and it made me realise that i care about my learners and their well-being. I took it upon myself to teach personal hygiene for my social action project , it was a success although there were a few hiccups not finding a spokesperson but i managed to make it work. Donating for the school was also from the desire i had to see young children taking their hygiene seriously, i believe a clean body leads to a clean and happy smile to an excellent working mind. Would i host another initiative in future yes, children need to learn how to take care of themselves, step at a time. In conclusion this initiative tested my communcation skills and collaboration skills as i had to work with fellow stakeholders from the host school to make my project a success.
The Impact of Empowering Educators
Life of a teacher, oh what a concept, taking over someone else's class can be tricky and challenging at times. i was required to shadow my mentor teacher for three days and honestly, there is more to the classroom where one just teaches and gives learners information. The meetings, planning of events and extra curricula and paper work. I have learnt a lot from shadowing my mentor teacher, i felt i was a fully employed teacher for a moment, which i look forward to. In a nutshell life of a teacher was very educational and informative, i am grateful to have received the three-day opportunity while planning lessons and teaching other lessons. Life of a teacher also made, me realise that collaboration does not take place only in the classroom where by i the teacher i administrate it or in college with my fellow colleagues it also takes place in the workplace which is essential for development
Conclusion
Empowering educators is not just about providing resources; it is about creating a culture that values their contributions and supports their growth. By investing in educators, we invest in the future of our students and communities. As we move forward, let us prioritize the empowerment of educators, recognizing their vital role in transforming lives through knowledge.
The journey of education is a shared one, and together, we can create a brighter future for all.
